For printers using a separate drum system, MICR Toner Mart recommends the MICR Toner + Matched MICR Drum for the initial MICR setup.
The MICR drum is custom-built by MICR Toner Mart and matched to the characteristics of our MICR toner to produce strong print density and the highest reliable MICR signal performance.
MICR toner performance depends on the complete imaging system—not simply the toner cartridge. For these printer families, the toner and drum are designed to operate together as a matched MICR system.

- Toner + Matched MICR Drum — First-Time Setup — Recommended when converting the printer to MICR. This provides the complete matched MTM MICR imaging system.
- MICR Toner Only — For Existing MTM MICR Drum — For printers already operating with a MICR Toner Mart matched MICR drum. If your printer has not previously been converted with an MTM MICR drum, select the Toner + Matched MICR Drum option.
Each MICR toner and drum system is custom-built for the specified printer family and MICR signal-tested before shipment.

Each cartridge is MICR signal-tested before shipment. A MICR Toner Mart Signal Test Certificate is available on request, documenting the cartridge model, test date, and quality-control result. This is MICR Toner Mart internal quality-control documentation, not third-party certification.
